Capricornia Arts Festival

The Capricornia Arts Festival is a new festival which will run from Friday October 16 to Saturday October 24, 2015.

 

Imagine a week-long celebration of the arts – winding inland from ocean to outback – which unites locals and attracts tourists.

 

President, Debbie Heinemann, says she was inspired by similar festivals which allow local artists to showcase and promote their work and to participate in workshops conducted in various venues.

 

“We’re looking for support and involvement from anybody whose interests fall under the broad banner of ‘the arts’”, says Mrs Heinemann, “from crochet and circus to ceramics and storytelling and everything in between”.
