Capricornia Arts Festival
The inaugural year
A group of artists from across the region have banded together to form a committee to set up the first Capricornia Arts Festival.
The festival will run from Friday 16th October through to Saturday 24th October 2015. This event will include an Arts Trail winding through Yeppoon and Rockhampton. It will be an eight day event with lots happening along this trail.

The festival would kick off on a Friday night with a wine and cheese night at a local venue showcasing many works of local artists.
There will be art workshop days where professional Australian artists will run workshops in many different mediums and styles of art at various locations across Capricornia. These workshops will cater for artists of all ages and levels.
More workshops would be held throughout the week, in the day time and at night.
